they open our eyes

no matter where i go or how much i might wine
its a hard life but its mine
ups and downs and downs and ups
i go in circles too
there are times i feel like all is lost and there is nothing left to do
its a hard life but its mine
i look into the future and see what we all see
nothing
i look into the past and there is no one there i care to be
its a hard life but its mine
so as i spin and tumble
fall and get back up
as i continue drinking from my ever empty cup

i will always land on my feet
because history will always repeat
and that is how i know that everything will come out nice and neat

driving down the highway on the wrong side of the road
driving down the highway in the slowest car i know
not sure were im going and im scared of were i've been
but i know that once i get there i'll be happy once again.

Smile

walking through this life we come across them all,

the kind, the mean, the large and the small. 

we have our chance to make our mark 

weather it be in the light or in the dark.

we choose our paths very early on. 

not knowing were we are going and never seeing were we have gone. 

its better to move forward then to simply stand in place. 

so as you travel threw life, hold on to all who pass through your space. 

weather it be for a moment or a life time. 

these are the people and the things that we will think about down the line and SMILE.
